On Nov 11^th, the Royal Swedish Technology Delegation, led by King of Sweden Carl XVI Gustaf, visited Zhejiang University. President Wei Yang received the visiting group.

The visiting group consisted of Swedish ambassador to China and Mongolia, Ruide Luo, ex-President of Royal Swedish Academy of Engineering Sciences, Lena Treschow Torell, President of Royal Swedish Academy of Engineering Sciences, Nilsson and other delegates from academia and enterprise. They had a meeting with the delegates from Zhejiang University in South China Garden, Campus Zijingang. Both sides exchanged the views on the education, research and international intercourse. Then the visiting group visited Centre for Optical and Electromagnetic Research.
